rsinghx asked: Steel-toes and Hardhats are probably 2 of the smartest investments that I have made, the steel toes are a multi tool for me.

Exactly. Make sure they fit well, aren’t cheap and are comfy (keeping in mind that you must break them in). I’ve had my current pair for years. A Hardhat is just obvious.

neviking asked: As a college theatre technician I currently have a Gerber Evo multitool, and a headlamp and I was wondering what other tools/materials you would suggest that I get as I progress through my school years. Thanks.

Sorry I’m answering this SO late. Are you even still in school? Steeltoed boots and a hardhat. I know people don’t feel very cool wearing them, but trust me. At the end of the day, you’ll be glad your head is safe. Steeltoes end up being used as a tool more than protecting my feet to be quite honest. They help me give things a brute painless kick as well as balance things on top of my toe. Once you learn these tricks, you use em forever. You also need something to hold all your stuff in. A bag designated as the bag you take to work would be perfect. Keep everything (your hammer, other random tools, a notebook, other tools) that way all your stuff for school/work has a place, making it way less likely to get lost (which WILLL happen). Put your name on shit. People WILL take your things eventually. I’m sure there’s way more ideas I could have given you. If you’ve got any tips, comment or send an ask.
